The product described on this website is a vehicle service contract, commonly called an extended warranty. It is optional, purchased separately, and is not a manufacturer warranty or an extension of one.
1. Limited availability
ZenAuto vehicle service contracts are currently available only to approved customers. Anyone may apply. Submission does not guarantee eligibility, approval, availability, pricing, or issuance.
2. Written contract controls
The complete written vehicle service contract controls all product terms, including provider obligations, administrator functions, covered components, exclusions, limits, deductible, term, mileage, waiting period, maintenance duties, claims authorization, repair facility rules, cancellation, transfer, dispute procedures, and state amendments.
3. Separate parties may perform different roles
ZenAuto may market or facilitate access to a vehicle service contract supplied, provided, administered, or fulfilled by other appropriately identified parties. Any available contract and related disclosures will identify the parties and their roles. Do not assume that the seller, marketer, provider, administrator, obligor, and repair facility are the same entity.
4. No universal repair promise
A service contract does not cover every breakdown, component, condition, loss, or expense. Common limitations may include preexisting conditions, maintenance items, wear items, excluded parts, unauthorized repairs, misuse, commercial use, modifications, environmental damage, collision, cosmetic concerns, or failures caused by lack of maintenance. Only the applicable contract states the actual rules.
5. Claims procedures matter
Contracts may require authorization before diagnosis, teardown, repair, or replacement. A customer may need to provide maintenance records or permit inspection. Failure to follow required procedures may affect payment. Use the provider or administrator contact in your contract before authorizing work.
6. Other coverage
Review existing manufacturer, dealer, certified pre-owned, insurance, roadside, credit card, or other coverage. A service contract may overlap with existing protection. ZenAuto does not represent that a service contract is necessary for every customer or vehicle.
7. Price and cancellation
Price, payment terms, cancellation rights, fees, and refunds vary. Review them before purchase. Cancellation and refund rights may be affected by time, mileage, claims, state law, lienholder interests, or the contract's stated formula.
8. No government, manufacturer, or dealer affiliation
ZenAuto is an independent Ohio-based company. No affiliation with a government body, motor vehicle agency, vehicle manufacturer, dealership, lender, or insurer should be inferred unless expressly stated in a specific written context.
9. Educational sources
For general consumer information, review the FTC guide to auto warranties and service contracts and the Ohio Attorney General consumer guidance.
10. Questions
Ask questions before accepting or paying. General ZenAuto questions may be sent to hello@zenauto.com. Contract-specific questions should be directed to the party identified in the written contract.
